September 2010 Meeting (Our FIRST of the year):

Installing Fieldbus Instrumentation in Hazardous Locations

We discussed how to apply foundation fieldbus in hazardous locations and why the “High Power Trunk” approach offers the biggest benefits over FISCO when using fieldbus in hazardous areas. We also discussed how physical layer diagnostic tools can drastically reduce start up time, increase plant availability and support predictive maintenance.
