Speaker Bio’s:

Cory Jones

General Manager of Panelmatic Youngstown

Cory Jones Cory received his B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology/ Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 2000; then later went on to receive his M.B.A. in 2016 from Younstown State University.  Cory began his career serving 10 years in the US Army as an engineer executive officer in Ohio and Iraq.  There he was responsible for all soldier, logistical, and maintenance operations associated with the production of an Engineer Company in a hostile country. He later worked at General Motors as a Press Room Production Supervisor (2001-2006), then PCC air Foils as Clean and Cap Area Manager (2006-2008).  He has managed the Panelmatic Youngstown location for the past 10 years, as well as overseeing the Panelmatic East Division 2016-2017 and now the Panelmatic Cincinnati Division in 2018.

Rod Fellows, Account Manager

Rod FellowsRod has been with Panelmatic since 1985.  He has 33 Years’ experience in the manufacturing of custom built electrical control panels for various industries. Hands on experience in fabrication, finishing, assembly/wiring, shipping/receiving, procurement, material management, logistics, estimating, project management, sales, account management, scheduling and general management. In 2012 Rod helped launch the newest division of Panelmatic in Greenville, SC, via acquisition of Murray Controls.  His expertise and magnetic personality made the transition seamless and comfortable for everyone involved.   Rod’s current role is in Account Management/Sales but he will never consider himself a “salesman”. He has claimed himself as an “Industrial Social Worker (TM) working on solutions! My best is the least I can do"!

Shannon King, New Business Development

Edit photoShannon has been with Panelmatic since 2013.  Shannon attended YSU with a major in Psychology, and then worked as a multi-family housing manager for 5 years while raising her now 9 year old son, Nathan.  Prior experience as a flute teacher, makeup artist, and office manager of a large 8-campus church made the transition to Panelmatic seem even more contradicting.  The interest in the industrial manufacturing industry seemed like a challenge and gave her more ability to expand her knowledge in general.  Hired in the administrative end initially, Shannon was transitioned into sales in 2015 forcing more knowledge in the world of electrical engineering.  This challenge continues as the industry and Panelmatic’s footprint is constantly expanding.  Having the experience in psychology does have its value, however. The main objective of Shannon’s role is to understand the need and desired outcome of a project, and clearly communicate that need to ensure the continuity all the way until the job completion, and thereafter.  Clear communication and understanding make all the difference in a successful business relationship (in any industry).
