3D Printing!
Topic: 3D Printing
Rick Pollack of MakerGear LLC will be with us to talk about the revolution-in-progress that is desktop manufacturing. As personal fabrication matures and becomes readily available, the ability to create new products will be less about access to capital (even with the new “crowdfunding” movement) and more about know-how.
Rick will discuss his role and MakerGear’s role in the maker movement and offer his glimpse into the distributed manufacturing world of the future. And he will have printers set up to demonstrate the technology.
There are deep reservoirs of pent-up creativity and talent throughout the world, and Rick and his team are working hard to unleash them!
About the Speaker: Rick Pollack of MakeGear LLC
