ABOUT
THE TOPIC:
Ryan Martin Wager
will speak about harnessing the public’s creativity, embodying the ideas in
well-engineered products, and enabling newcomers of all ages and walks to
improve our world. While many manufacturers of 3D printer are focused on
cost-reduction, MakerGear is working to take advantage of the strong engineering
and manufacturing resources that North East Ohio offers to create products that
are clearly differentiated by their reliability and relevancy.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Ryan Martin-Wagar, MakerGear LLC RYAN MARTIN-WAGAR joined MakerGear in 2014 and
has recently moved in to the role of COO. Prior to joining MakerGear, Ryan held
roles as a product engineer and operations manager at Carlisle Brake and
Friction over a seven year period. He received his B.S. in Materials Science &
Engineering from MIT and his M.S. in Metallurgy from the Colorado School of
Mines.
