Drones are changing the world in which we live. In a time where digital efficiency is manifesting in the physical world through devices such as the 3D printer, drones are the go anywhere, do anything mobile data platform. Our presentation will cover drone technology through the humble beginnings of the first drone, the Kettering Bug, invented in Ohio, through recent advancements and economies of scale, emerging through the smart phone. We will cover the amazing ways in which drones are currently being used, from aerial photography, structural inspections, engineering, mapping volumetrics, swarming and the future uses ahead.
