ISA CLEVELAND SECTION PROGRAM
For Inspiration & Recognition
of
Science and Technology
May 3, 2018
About the Topic:
FIRST is a worldwide organization
committed to STEM education through four programs that span
grades K-12. FIRST participants design, build, and program
robots to score points in competitions that are like sports
events. But FIRST is more than robots. Students
learn important skills like problem solving, teamwork,
collaboration, marketing, business planning, fund raising, and
public speaking. Come meet FIRST teams from across
Northeast Ohio, see their robots, and hear their stories.
See the difference FIRST is making at home and across the world.
Michael Rudder from Rockwell
Automation will have several FIRST teams present, with their
robots, to demonstrate and describe their competition and
learnings. Bring your kids (or
grandkids) to see this
amazing program in action.
